So, Who's going to come forward with proof
that the NSA is recording our calls too. Because we know they are right folks? At the very least the ones that the computer flags for keyPhone numbers like: The local Democratic Party HQ, The ACLU, Your representatives in congress and the senate (Ur a terraist if you call your government to complain), Your friend from France, Your sister going to Berkeley, The subscription number for Rolling Stone magazine etc. etc.

2. If any of them even dare to talk to their sources anymore
I wouldn't even be suprised if the WH is the leaker on this just to put the last vestiges of our once free press (and their sources) on notice that the NSA WILL know who is giving out information.

4. Some made a good point here yesterday.
A database comprised of nothing but phone numbers and call times/durations for the past 5 years is not sufficient to be the "world's largest database." Even logging 900,000 phone calls a minute, I imagine that you'd be looking at a few hundred terabytes: that's pretty damn big, but not unheard of. I understand that Google Earth's database is in this neighborhood.

No, to be the world's largest database, there has to be some additional load that we're not accounting for.

Audio files?
