AT&T gone as *long distance* carrier as of NOW!!
:hi:

I managed to get rid of AT&T/SBC as my long distance carrier. Before getting rid of them, I had to be enrolled in some form type of long distance carrier so I was in a "plan" for $2.00 a month which either was never used or it ended up being way over the $2.00 a month charge. It was not working out right and was a pain in the butt.

I also canceled call waiting being I now have DSL, so no more call waiting either.

I switched back to my old carrier which was Primus Telecommunications. They will also be picking up all local toll calls as well and no more #'s to dial ad infinitum!

However, AT&T still owns my local area network phone line but my ISP manages to bypass it I found out.

So, I still have AT&T to a point but for the most part they are now *poof* gone. :D

Well worth it - no more long #'s to dial to use the MCI card, etc.

:dem:
