16. What an odd post. I love the emotion, but what's the point here?
Why come to DU and advertise for bipartisanship? I'm always in favor of working with Republicans when we share a common goal (preserving the Bill of Rights, protection our children, saving the environment for future generations, balancing the federal budget, um, all used to be good examples). But even I wouldn't push bipartisanship as a cause. This site is about how do we organize our party and kick asses in alternating Novembers.

The OP has, sadly, wasted many electrons in a lost, if somewhat confused, cause.

17. Unkick! Unrecommended. The Statue of Liberty does NOT shoot the bird...
...at anyone but Alberto Gonzalez. This "coming motherfuckers" message is a retread image from 9/11. That's a nice message in the shock of the post WTC days, but now that we're over the shock and our leaders have pretty much foregone trying to avenge those 3000 murders in lieu of a satellite "war on sanity" in Iraq (and points beyond), the old lady has gone back to actually representing liberty again and the bird shot is an irrelevant image.

This post (and I suppose my reply) are a waste of electrons.

I looked at this creation a whole different way. My (our?) Statue of Liberty would never flip the world the bird. What has our (read: their) foreign policy message to the world in 2006? I think that this image represents the world's view of the USA.

20. I agree it DOES represent the World's view of the US
I meant it to show that WE THE PEOPLE are coming at the power-broakers who created the World's negative opinions about us. This was certainly NOT my best graphic effort. My meanings are too subtle for an internet type approach and better left to the realms of painting.
