I just got a money solicitation call from the DCCC!

I missed what she said at first, and thanked her for doing a very difficult job. Then she went through her little presentation, and I said "You did say the DNC, right?" She said "No, I'm with the D tripple C. A lot of people get us mixed up!"

I very nicely said, "well, I don't have a lot of money, and if you were working for Howard Dean, I'd give you 25 bucks, but sorry, I just heard and read about the spat the DCCC had with him, and my support is going to the DNC! Thanks for calling anyway!"

I can't wait to tell them the same thing!

I told her very politely that I'll give the DCCC nothing, because I know a few candidates they've screwed over, here in Florida.

I will make all my donations to the DNC, and candidates that I personally like.

I'm sure those words are getting back to the D tripple C and they're NOT HAPPY!

Emanuel along with Schumer's DSCC are committed to spending money on moderate candidates and railroading out liberal ones.

In Minnesota both Democratic Senate candidates would beat Republican Mark Kennedy in the election but Schumer came out and endorsed Amy Klobuchar and sent Barack Obama to speak at a fundraiser for her. Why? She's moderate. She has no real position on any topic, she's wishy washy, which means they can pressure her to vote the way the DLC wants them to. Ford Bell is her opponent. He is smart, brilliant on the issues, a much better and more inspiring speaker and Amy's ducking him on a debate.

Why does Schumer want to hurt Bell's campaign? Because he's a liberal. He's got the bring the troops home position on the war. He will not be Washington Establishment safe.

The DCCC and DSCC are dangerous to democracy. They try to force liberals out of races (like Paul Hackett in Ohio) in order to endorse the moderate and kill primaries.

I understand that they're desperate for votes and cash, but in playing to the middle, they're not impressing me.

I told them no way and why. The lady seemed a little put out when I informed her I'd already contributed to the DNC. I also told her that from what I'd read about the DCCC I wasn't interested in helping them further their 'ambitions' within the Democratic party.
