FYI - Qwest availability.
Edited on Fri May-12-06 04:31 PM by bluerum
I was looking at changing over to Qwest and dumping Verizon but see that Qwest DSL and phone service is only available in the following states:

AZ.
CO.
IA.
ID.
MN.
MT.
ND.
NE.
NM.
OR.
SD.
VT.
UT.
WA.
WY.

Does anyone have any options for MA or is Verizon the local bully?

3. Change Vermont to Utah
Qwest sold their cell business to Nextel. You can get Qwest long distance in most states I believe.

5. a better way
Just use your local phone company for the basic phone service and tell them you don't want any long distance. then get a toll free 800 calling card. I use onesuite.com. it's only 3 cents per minute and no monthly fees. can't beat it and I don't have to use any of those big companies.
