Have you guys said anything to the hardcore Bush people you came across in 2004? My family was so gung-ho Bush and omg the world would end if Kerry was prez.. and look now at the mess that Bush has done. I can't wait to gloat
We need to keep these voters with us. Be understanding and supportive but give them FACTS that they won't get from Fux and other MSM. We can have their ears now. Speak wisely.
We keep asking what's going to happen when the real conservatives wake up and realize they've been had, no point pushing them away once they do start to think about things. Unintended consequences are real too and we need those votes to change things.
On the other hand my wife's parents wrote her recently and told her that since Bush said God bless America it meant he'd blessed us too, and she just answered that she thought they were smarter than that. It's not so easy to be restrained sometimes ;)
