I graduated summa cum laude from a 4-year univeristy with a fancy, framed Bachelor of Science degree. Thank to the wonderful Bush economy, it's not worth the paper it's printed on. 18 years later, I am back in school at my EXCELLENT community college re-directing my career into the medical field.

I'm not trying to flame you at all, but the tone of your post makes it sound like community colleges aren't "real colleges," and so why on earth would a president speak at a CC commencement? Of course, in this case it was just a photo op since said CC is in Katrina country.

The real question should be how could this man be expected to speak at ANY learning institution since the graduates he would be addressing are pretty much guaranteed to have a higher level of intelligence than the Boy King.
