At Falwell's University, McCain Defends Iraq War - NY Times
You ask for "vigorous opposition," John? You have found it.

LYNCHBURG, Va., May 13 — With the Rev. Jerry Falwell at his side, Senator John McCain offered a spirited defense of the Iraq war on Saturday, telling graduating students at Liberty University that victory there was crucial to world security. But Mr. McCain urged opponents of the war to vigorously "state their opposition" in the interest of critical debate on this increasingly unpopular conflict.

3. What a fucking moran
I suppose he thinks he's setting himself up for '08 with the religious rightwingnuts with this appearance.

Paging Senator McCain! The vast majority of Americans find this war indefensible.

You know, I hope he turns off a huge segment of America with this shit. I really do. He is unworthy of higher office.

5. A lot of us did just that before the occupation in Iraq began!
But we were called traitors, unpatriotic, unAmerican, we supported terrorists, we were giving comfort to the enemy, blah blah blah...

When have the Repukes ever been interested in having a critical debate on the Iraq occupation, or anything else for that matter? Anyone that disagrees with them is smeared and libeled and their opinions are immediately dismissed.
