Do you see any cyanosis in my lips?

I'll just bet you don't, because I ain't holding my breath. Especialy about this Jason Leopold story. Now, don't get me wrong: I have no issues with Jason. To my mind, when you look at his body of work and when you look at the circumstances surrounding The Tom White Affair, he got set up and done dirt.

But, you see, I have been down this road before.

I have had my heart torn out by dissappointment too many times, waiting for the other shoe to drop only to discover that the guy upstairs is a one-legged man. After all, we are talking about the real leader of the slipperiest, slimiest, most-teflon-coated bunch of pirates, pimps, thieves and scumbags ever to waste skin and gravity.

Now, if it does all go down like Jason says, there has never been as naked a man, ever, to run down Front St, in Belvitucky, screaming at the top of his lungs and smearing himself with Grape Jelly as he runs. Period.

But until it goes down, no cyanosis here.

I'm actually not worked up at all because given the avalanche of evidence against him, an indictment against Rove of some sort seems inevitable, whether or not we know the day or hour. If Leopold knows or doesn't know, well, that is an issue of timing, but has little to do with the ultimate result.

Let me take the time to once again greatly credit the Fitzgerald investigation. Leopold would have a much better track record if Fitz' side leaked like a sie... like a Starr investigation.

Not one leak. Not one peep. Not anything.

It has been flawless and unprecedented.

Deep appreciation of this man and the kinds of people he chooses to associate with. Running a tight ship is a team effort and a captain picks his crew.

No attack on you at all, I happen to enjoy your knowledge on this board, it just seems pretty hard to believe that they do not know what is going on, they own every known spying agency in this country.
