3. Apparently it isn't working well - per asking the right questions.

As the questioning is quite uneven depending on the guests. Tim, perhaps you ought to consider, humbly, whether you are listening to your own gut and desires and hoping it is what God wants since you pray (ala you create, in your own heart/mind, a rationalization for the disparate treatment of guests based on their political persuation, rather than a standard journalistic treatment for all guests?)

6. Heck, I am humble enough to know that *I have been guilty of that*

it is human nature. Takes a little spirituality to realize the difference and move beyond basic wants and justifications (as in I want this outcome, or justification for behaving this way and thus I will pray and decide, in my mind, that the very behavior I wanted to act on is okay because I "prayed" - where the "praying" beacomes diminished to a perpetual act of self-rationalization.)
