WHY? FWIW... Scoop has a fair bit of history with Leopold and he has been consistently proved right in the past. (Plus of course... Will Pitt's word is not to be easily dismissed neither...)

However, that is because I have no problem with Jason Leopold's credibility. That said, I'm not spreading it far and wide yet. Why? I have a rule that says I need two independent confirmations. I never spread the story about the US planting WMDs in Iraq even though I suspected it was true because I couldn't get that second confirmation.

The confirmation will come soon enough, like Monday. I think he was already indicted and has been booked and bonded. I think it all happened on Friday afternoon. But, I won't spread that beyond these doors because, again, I don't have independent corroboration.

Patience.
