number. I have never called outside of this country nor do I know how to. Anyway, it was a 901 number. I called Sprint and they stated it had to do with the internet. They told me (and I have never found this to be true), that 901 numbers are when one goes on an unfamiliar website and the sites NOW can automatically change your connection over to their servers which can possibly be foreign. I told her I had never come upon that but I had come upon instances when Windows "warned" me that if I went into another part of a website that that site's server would take over and what I would be charged per minute. Also, none of these were adult sites either (like pornographic).
Needless to say, I had to pay the bill.
I went back into my history on Internet Explorer for the month and the dates the phone company had charged me for those "supposed" internet website charges that were international, and I had not visited any different websites then I usually had.
It obviously was some error on the phone company's part that I had to pay, but I wonder now if I'm being listened to or watched online?
The above paragraph being stated by a me, a citizen of the U.S., is absolutely pathetic and no American should even have to ask that question or even wonder if it could even happen. :patriot:
