Pickles' idea of what constitutes feminism (btw, says she's a feminist)
On ABC's This Week, the First Stepford Wife was asked if she was a feminist. Her response, "Well, sure, of course."

Hunh?

Then she went on to talk about her work to get education to women in Afghanistan. Apparently that constitutes feminism.

When George asked her about backlash by fundamental Muslims Pickles came back with this (paraphrasing): "Well, that's their culture. We have to be sure what we do fits in with their culture."

Ummm... :wtf:

Could she be any more vacuous????

1. I guess taking a trip to Afghanistan (for a photo op)....
once a year is considered working to get education to women in Afghanistan. If she's a feminist heaven help us women in the US.

9. Noooo....and yes.

For some reason, the vision of Pickles ripping off her bra made me think of Kathryn Harris. But the kick is right on. :hi:

11. You're probably right
That would be too much- just wanted her to show her feminism which is not evident.
She is as stupid as her dorky husband if not worse. At least Georgie is Super Manly and keeps her in line.

6. uh-huh
She's a real 'feminist' who sits back while her husband puts anti-abortion zealots on the Supreme Court, thus ensuring that we're barefoot and preggers for the next century or so.

Real activist, that pickles!

Honestly, I can't think of one thing she's done on behalf of American women. And she's hardly a role model for young girls, unless being high on xanax is some new Republican 'family value'.

13. I had a roomate once who was a librarian.
Knowing the Dewey system did not make her well read. As a matter of fact she was dumb as a post and the only thing she read was the labels on her prescription pill collection.

10. In 1928 that was feminism. By today's standards, specifically not
educating women is human rights abuse.
