So some Republicans want to bring people together & stop the vitriol
according to some recent rhetoric from a couple of their spokespeople like Gingrich and McCain, who were both highlighted on the Sunday morning talk shows.

What a bunch of hypocritical lying scumbags they are. Man are they desperate.

Republicans....Republicans who perfected the art of negative campaigning to the point that it gets them elected....Republicans who have used hatred, intolerance, and lies as a means of dividing us....Republicans who have created an atmosphere in the United States where its citizens look at each other as enemies and not as fellow citizens...........Republicans all of a sudden want to stop with the vitriol and THEY want to bring people together??? Gimme a friggin break.

Democrats have been trying to bring people together all along, but Republicans would have nothing to do with it. They were too concerned with negative attacks and division, no matter what the cost to our beloved United States. Now all of a sudden, with their president tanking in the polls beyond the point of no return, and all their jobs on the line, they want to mend the scars and close all those deep divides that THEY'VE created?? They want to do it NOW? Yeah, I wonder why!

Oh, we'll do it, as we should and because it needs to be done for the sake of our country, but they're gonna have to wait just a wee bit longer until WE'RE in power, so it can be done right...and with dignity. All the negative bullshit and slandering they've spewed for years has now come back full circle to kick them in the ass and it's got them grasping at straws.

Yes, there is no choice but to bring this country back together and to heal its wounds, but it will be Democrats who oversee it, not Republicans, and it will be done very soon.

Restoring the pride, honor, dignity, and unity to the United States that the Republicans have taken away is a job that will be handled very nicely by Democrats once we take over. Gingrich and McCain will just have to wait a very little while longer. The pendulum has shifted.

2. "stop the vitriol" ??
That would require them taping their mouths shut. They always want civility when they are about to get justifiably blasted.

6. Exactly
People like Gingrich are the last ones who should be talking about civility. Gingrich is talking about it because he's scared for his party, not because he's scared for his country.
