two car bombs. 26 killed. Who knows how many injured.

2. I don't even know anymore.

We seem to tolerate just about everything. No one stands up. No one seems to complain.

It's like we have become the pod people. I just don't get what has happened to us. Are we afraid? Or just so sick of the whole thing that we just try and ignore it?

One of my friends has family members who were really gung ho Bush and she says they simply never bring the topic up. She thinks they are mortified by what has happened.
