King George has been invoking the 'state secrets privilege' whenever anyone files a lawsuit charging he is employing illegal means to his ends. Ex: a German brought suit that he was illegally held in an Afghanistan prison. Bush declared this involved a 'state secret in wartime' and the judge agreed. Bush has done this many times so no one can look into what this Administration is doing and he will do the exact same thing with the class action suits against the telephone companies.

So--- he does signing statements for portions of laws passed by Congress that he doesn't want to follow and he stops investigative lawsuits when he wants to by pulling the 'wartime President' crap.

And he's not already a dictator??? Looks like a campaign issue to me, but the Dems will be silent I'm sure.

1. Oh, Bush is definitely a dictator.
That's why he can ignore the polls and just go on
doing what he does... all criminal and insane.

3. This is why the * administration will do positively anything,
including declaring martial law, to stay in power in the coming months. That's the reason for Pelosi's convenient fiction, allaying their impeachment fears. The very thought of a democratically controlled body having subpoena powers must be a heart stopping picture for them.
