How many days left until the Next Presidential election???

Think about it.

We have that many days to fix voting and get our candidates in office.

How fast has time flown? Well from last election to now (mainly personal):

Mom Died
Her best friend died
My neighbors across the street from me have both died
Daughter turned 5
Wife was diagnosed with Parkinson's
My X wife died
My kids from previous marriage hate me, but one of them called me and told me he loves me
Scooter was indicted
*'s poll numbers have plummeted

A lot has happened since last big election - which to me says we can accomplish a lot before the next one.

Let's git-r-done. Let's roll. Let's swing this country back to the right direction. Let's stand.

I don't care if leopold was right, or about will's integrity, or how offended I am when someone ridicules my faith. Ok, I do care on a personal level of course - but overall, these are small potatoes in the big picture.

Would that I spent more time doing more to bring about a real change. My hat is off to those of you in the trenches day to day. Our time is slipping by, while the criminals are sailing the ship.

It ain't over. And I hope we can all pull together as needed to do what must be done. Throw the assholes out of office, have a fucking HUGE party on DU with lots of beer, and then make damn sure the people we get into office do their freaking job.

Today sucks, tomorrow has hope built into it.

I have this crazy feeling the Democrats won't get anything in 08 unless we get a majority in the house in 06...
