Anyone ever hear of CNN's Glenn Beck?
He mentioned on his new show that there is "an awful lot of good news coming out of Iraq,that no one hears about." Well I hear the awful but I don't hear any good.

1. The "good news" reporters keep on getting killed before they can finish.
Such a problem these days...finding reporters willing to sacrifice their lives to report on a remote Iraqi school that just received a new chalkboard.

here from 9AM until 12 noon, every weekday. He is wild and crazy and repug, big time.

That CNN hired this moran certainly eliminated any residue of respect I had for that station.

9. Heard of him, but never heard him until...
I checked out his show on the rather inappropriately named "Headline News."

I gather he's cleaned up his radio act a bit for TV, but not by much. Actually, I found the show to be more boring than anything else. He has no substance, so without the bombast and outrageous stuff, there's nothing left.

Says something about CNN that in the evening they put on Beck, Nancy Grace, and Beck again.

I watched a little of it, & was bored in about 2 minutes. He's no different from any other opinionated blowhard on the air. I give him 3 months.

Just because they are allegedly 'recovered'* substance abusers doesn't make them good people. Some people are congenital jerks.

*From what I've been told by the people who've worked...and are still working their asses off through this process...there is no such thing as a recovered ________ (fill in the blank).
The term is recovering, since it is an ongoing battle 24/7/365.

I've heard a lot of people complaining that no one is telling the good news in Iraq, but then they don't tell you any of it either, they just complain.
