Just remember this - the public airwaves are OURS.

The corporate networks do NOT own it. We, the people of the United States, have expressly allowed the corporate networks to use the public airwaves as they see fit, however, they do not have any right to withhold public information by any superiors of the said network.

And if the gov't wants to lock you up, they have to publicly show their cause or petition a judge to show cause in private.

And you have the right to protest your government and its officials anywhere that is not private property owned by another individual citizen.

Lissen, I got some waterfront property in FL that's poised to really take off in value. I'll let you in on the ground floor, as it were...

Of course a network has a right to withhold and not report anything they do not want to report. They can chose to report on what they want to report on and they can choose to not report something if they do not want to report it.

6. When any network is granted a part

of the publicly owned spectrum they are required to use it for the public good. That public good is not defined though.

Ideally any broadcast network should be broadcasting what's good for us, not what's good for their corporate owners. But that's only ideally. Reality doesn't give a damn what "should" happen. Corporate executives will use any resource they have to do anything they can get away with.
