My books glorify the monsters and slander upstanding Christian hypocrites. And have magic. Vampires and werewolves as good guys.

An alien race that manipulates the easily swayed into believing that magic is bad, bad, bad and that the "freaks" that were created to save humanity are the enemy.

Protestors wanted. Book burners wanted. I want to make a movie so they can protest it.

All publicity is good publicity, dammit! If the Da Vinci code can get all that wonderful free publicity, I want some of it.

What does a guy have to do to irritate these people? I'll do it.

Just go to a Bush speech and wear a DNC shirt. They will be happy to arrest you. then you will get free publicity.
