I'm a skeptic, but I don't object to anyone believing the Leopold story. I only object to people trying to quash my right to be critical of it. If anyone has an answer to my questions, or can point out why my questions are off-base, that's what dialogue is for. But I found yesterday, just expressing skepticism over the latest from Truthout got me called a "dick" right off the bat. (I forgive you, you-know-who-you-are, even if you clearly aren't ready to forgive me.)

Now you're saying someone on "my side" called you a "kool-aid drinker." I would never do that to you LSK. I may disagree with you about the soundness of the Leopold story, but I'm as Dean guy, and anyone who's a Dean person, in my book, has got to be at least a little bit okay. :patriot:

But in the one thread I participated in during all this mess, I tried to discuss some valid points and eventually it got to the point where I was hinted at drinking the Kool-Aide.

I for one do not know Leopolds sources or what he was told nor do I know if Rove has been indicted or what Fitz is doing.

Time will only tell who is right or wrong.

It's really time to make peace between the sides.

Your skepticism is healthy, I've seen you in those threads and you are definitely not what's being discussed. You ask reasonable questions in a civil fashion.

I think skepticism is warranted, but the vitriol being heaped by SOME people should be reserved for those who really deserve it, IMO. People who are holding out hope for the accuracy of the story do not deserve scorn and mockery. And that's coming from ME, someone who still IS a world class asshole and heaps mockery w/ the best of them.
