...today's tirades about Snow's "tar baby" comment were overkill.

I don't want to tell anyone what not to be offendced by, but coming from Snow, the repeated use of the phrase comes off as the detachment of the ultra-rich rather than as an attempt to promote racism.

But I really do love her work.

IMO,The reason some get upset with her when she talks to callers is that they have trouble with her being abrasive.

I like her style.

She is one of the first women that will stand up and speak her mind.

She doesn't care who she is talking to ~ that is what men do all day long.

She can out fox FAUX.

20. She's Got Good Substance, But Not So Good Disposition.
She could use being a little more patient and apt to listen to people that call in. But when there aren't callers and she's just goin off on somethin, she can be pretty good. I hope one of these days she does listen to the advice to let her callers get a word in edgewise a bit more though, then I'd be able to appreciate her even more.

45. It's her conversational ruthlessness that sharpens the show.
Some of the local hosts here in Sacramento will let the most inane dorks drone on endlessly. Rhandi has a higher bar -- if you're not coherently contributing, off you go. I've come to appreciate her short fuse for Information Impatience, which I respect highly. She's always on top of things -- because she's focused like a laser beam. No one else does it quite that way -- the hard science of information and fact and analysis. I always learn. Always.

I've been listening to her more and more on XM.
Last week she had a hilarious piece on how Rove, Hayden, Cheney, and Negroponte all look alike.
The other day, she was railing about the immigration fix. She mentioned that Mexicans make up only 20% of illegal immigrants. I'd like to know if I can verify that somewhere.
She is truly PO'd and it works for me!

The day after the 2004 "election" I was spiraling down into a serious depression. When I tuned into Randi's show, she had pulled herself together and said something to the effect of "I've fought the fight for four years, and I'll just have to fight another four."

I've never been a huge fan, but I enjoy her occasionally. She does some really good rants every now and then...

But yesterday... she said she believed a missile had hit the Pentagon on 9/11.

She said that there was no debris from a 757 at the crash site - a simple google search will turn up plenty of evidence to the contrary.

I don't want to turn this thread into a 9/11 conspiracy theory dungeonfest - I was just shocked by Randi putting the tinfoil on. It completely discredits her in my eyes. It made her look foolish, and since she is increasingly being viewed as a spokesperson for the left, it makes the left look foolish also.

Randi truly lost me yesterday. I can't take anything she says seriously anymore. Anyone who believes that a missile hit the Pentagon and that there was no debris from a 757 isn't credible, in my book.

There are pictures of the front of the Pentagon prior to it's collapse that show burn marks and other damage from the impact of the wings. There are pictures that show debris from a 757 at the crash site. These were no doubt faked by the same conspiracy that pirated off a 757, it's crew and passengers, and is hiding them on a secluded island somewhere in the Pacific. Or Atlantic. Or maybe they're on the moon.
