After listening to Tweety play Defender of the Faith on teevee
and all his angst about some people not believing Jesus is God and Brown's depiction Mary Magdelene somehow being a "feminist view" of Christianity, I hope the DaVinci Code makes millions at the box office. Tweety and an Opus Dei guy were snarking about how the movie was so lousy and is getting panned at the film festival. I hope the public loves it for a telling of a good yarn, one that catches the imagination and opens the mind to other ways of thinking.

4. I enjoyed one comment on the entire programme
hen one gentleman suggested that they put a disclaimer on their bibles re myths. Who promotes more myths than catholics. I too hope the movie makes millions afterall that vhurch continues to make millions off myths.
How I wish my dear departed 'very catholic' mum was alive for us to debate this battle of the myths.

5. Can You Please Explain What Compels You To Watch?
From the sound of it, none of you had anything positive to say about the show. Why do you spend an hour of your time and brain power watching and listening?

6. actually, I didn't watch it
I saw the first five seconds and knew Tweety was going to pull his pious "I'm a good Catholic - you aren't" crap and switched it off. There's only so much the stomach can take ---
