Rummy would like to shut down Gitmo, but he fears for their safety
I swear to the Lord that on cnn just now a reporter said that Rumsfeld would like to see Guantanamo Bay shut down, but he fears that the prisoners being held there would be sent to other countries where they might be tortured.

What a nice guy.

1. Randi was saying last week that they "couldn't arrange transportation"
for the prisoners at Gitmo. Like they really wanted to release them all, but just could not figure out how to get them all out of there.
What a crock!!!! :puke:  :spank: :wow: :grr: :nuke: :banghead:

4. Last week the excuse was that they were waiting for a Supremes ruling
Wanted to make sure they could be tried by a military tribunal.

This group has more excuses....

2. Are you sure? I think he might have been saying
that he FEARS their SAFETY. That would make much more sense.:grr:

I swear to god, at any moment, my brain is about to go like this: :nuke:

Okay, now I have a question: Every story that AOL reports about Guantanamo, they have the same photograph. How was that picture able to be taken? I wouldn't expect that anybody would just be able to walk right up to the fence.

Until we find a safe place for them, we'll make them stand for hours on end, deprive them of sleep, threaten them with dogs, and make them feel like they're drowning. We have their best interests at heart. They might be tortured if they were returned to their home countries.

5. Aww....isn't that sweet?
Don "Mr. Caring" Rumsfailed.

What next? How about the prisoners not being able to collect their brownie buttons for good behavior? That's enough to make them stay. And what about their gold stickers.

Yes, you're right Don.

You really are crazy, we all know that.
