Homeland Security Perusing my Website....
I encourage everyone to pop by my anti-war website, www.shockedandawful.com

However, I am really disappointed that government computers, which taxpayers paid for, should be used for browsing the internet.

Anyone know how to ID this fellow?

1. Would they leave such obvious tracks like that?
Seems like it would be easy enough to get a computer with a different isp. Then again, not the brainiest administration.

2. Too bad it took them so long to find the sexual predators in their own
back yard. Maybe if they concentrated on criminals instead of innocent American citizens? The people who are paying their salaries.

If they're reading your website, could you ask them why they paid millions of dollars to a Limo Company, owned by a man with long rap sheet, to drive them around? And maybe they know something about our Representatives and members of the Intelligence community, partying at the Watergate Hotel, playing poker, smoking cigars and fooling around with prostitutes?

There's so much crime out there, lately much of it seems to be within the Republican Party, 'party' is right! And don't they know that it's illegal to spy on their own citizens no matter what The Decider says?

No wonder 9/11 happened, and Katrina! Homeland 'Security'! What a joke! I hope we'll be able to dismantle all these big government agencies and spend that money on the American people. Maybe save some lives, like providing medical care for those who don't have it, eg. What a waste of tax-payer dollars.

Edited on Fri May-19-06 09:29 PM by BadgerKid
I just looked up the IP address of www.dhs.gov from home and at work. (The xxx's replace the actual numbers.)

> host www.dhs.gov
www.dhs.gov is an alias for www.dhs.gov.edgesuite.net.
www.dhs.gov.edgesuite.net is an alias for a830.g.akamai.net.
a830.g.akamai.net has address 68.22.xxx.xxx
a830.g.akamai.net has address 68.22.xxx.xxx

> host www.dhs.gov
www.dhs.gov is an alias for www.dhs.gov.edgesuite.net.
www.dhs.gov.edgesuite.net is an alias for a830.g.akamai.net.
a830.g.akamai.net has address 206.166.xxx.xxx

As the saying goes, "security through obscurity" (their security)

15. They're not "browsing the internet".
They're investigating your site.

You should take it as a compliment that you're doing something right.
