This place is disassembling into petty bicker basket. (((UGH))))!!!

What happened to the common ground? Who here is reaching for that common ground and, if you are, characterize it and ACT with those who are part of that common ground rather than "bicker" with those who advocate in other territories.

I mean, seriously. DUH!!!!

2. OUR greatest "enemy" is loss of focus on common ground.
Loss of focus leads to burn-out and/or distraction and/or fragmentation and/or ineffectiveness and,...eventually, loss.

When are we going to act as advocates, prosecuting those who are violating our common rights instead of N-I-T-P-I-C-K-I-N-G those who are risking EVERYTHING to BE ADVOCATES?

This is a bad time for DU to disassemble. This is a bad time for any/all independents and liberals and progressives and real democrats to lose focus on our common ground: constitutional and civil and human rights.

6. Uninvited injustices and breaches of human rights and dignities.
We have to focus on our advocacy on human dignity and common rights AND REFUSE TO BE DISTRACTED BY OTHER LATERAL CRAP!!!!

We must be FIGHTERS for basic human rights. no more defending against those who are violating basic human rights. WE ARE THE ADVOCATES. THEY ARE THE PERPETRATORS!!!

5. Mankind is still evolving mentally and emotionally
I have an ugly case of sarcasm and cynicism. I was just thinking to myself as i watered my back yard that I get so emotionally attached to how unfair the world seems. I'm hateful about what i consider 'the opposition'. I wish we would evolve past the polarizing one end or the other, male/female, black/white, left/right, right/wrong, good/bad, style of framing our thoughts. I would love to see some compromise and cooperation in the world, in general. Even the religious/nonreligious game is such a stumbling block. After all that means we have to challenge the word of 'God'. Sometimes it feels like we just can't win. I'm kinda tired of feeling like we are the underdogs. Perhaps it's the drowning in minutia, there is so much crap that crowds out 'the forest for the trees'. I just need to get a grip and clear my mind. Try to be above it all. Lead with my 'Adult'. Observe with the witness state. Find some detachment. Experience equanimity. But to tell you the truth I don't have any fault with we Dems the the other guys ...REALLY MAKE ME MADDER THAN HELL!!!!!! Peaceful thoughts libodem:loveya:

7. but,....we are only a member of one race,....the human race.
It's not even a "race", it's an existence we ALL share as human beings. I understand your frustration. But, perhaps, we're going through a period where all those frames are literally being redefined by the whole of humanity,...and the neocons are the antithesis of that. The neocons still believe authoritarianism ("rule of force") is the path to peace. They are heckled and rebuked, even hated,...have increased anti-Americanism. IOW, the neocons are WRONG!!!

No use in getting caught up in something, beyond y/our control. Control your life, best you can,...creating the beauty you are able,...with your friends, your significant other, your neighbors, your kids, your animals (I created a "bird commune" and it is flourishing beyond my expectations with birds I've never seen in this area).

I've finally become comfortable with my anger and found two efficient ways to rid myself of it: throw pillows at a target until exhausted or beat the f*ck out of a stump with my son's invincible bat. I've always avoided my anger,....hurt me. Now, I've found two ways to dump it without destroying others with it.

Peaceful thoughts back atcha'!!!

Don't sweat the small stuff. Remember, in the whole scheme of things, it's ALL SMALL STUFF.
