I am SO SICK of you letting CON-di go UNCHALLENGED. Especially since you continue to allow her to say "The WHOLE WORLD thought Saddam had WMD and no one could have predicted 9-11." Since many think the WH must be paying you off, here's some questions so you can dispel the rumors:


1. "MS. RICE, COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC EXAMPLES OF EXACTLY WHO IN THE WORLD HAD INDEPENDENT EVIDENCE OF IRAQI WMD, NOT PROVIDED BY BRITAIN OR THE US OR CHALABI OR CURVEBALL?"


2."MS. RICE, COULD YOU PLEASE SPECIFICALLY EXPLAIN WHY YOU CHOSE TO IGNORE STATE DEPT, CIA, IAEA REPORTS THAT SAID IRAQ WAS NOT RECONSTITUTING THEIR NUCLEAR PROGRAM AND CHOSE INSTEAD TO SCARE THE PUBLIC WITH YOUR MUSHROOM CLOUD RHETORIC? ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOUR DID NOT TRUST THE CIA, IAEA OR THE STATE DEPT BACK THEN?"


3. "MS. RICE, NO ONE EXPECTED YOU TO PREDICT PLANES FLYING INTO BUILDINGS, BUT YOU ADMIT YOU HAD WARNINGS AND THOUGHT THERE COULD BE A "REGULAR" HIGHJACKING. SINCE 9.11 WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED IF THOSE PERPETRATORS NEVER GOT ON A PLANE, COULD YOU PLEASE TELL THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WHAT YOU SPECIFICALLY DID TO PREVENT A "REGULAR" HIGHJACKING?"

Is there a worse spokesperson out there for bushco? Maybe not. She just reeks
of being - to paraphrase Harry Belafonte on Colin Powell - Massa's house black when it comes to
defending bush.

I have never understood why the press cowers before Condi. Maybe they're impressed with
her degrees and schooling. I'm not. A failure is a failure, and an idiot is an idiot, no matter
what the sheepskin hanging on the wall would lead you to believe.

When questioned, Condi says we can't just turn them loose in the general public...

Has Condi forgotten about the US & International Justice System?

Why doesn't Russo ask her why they can't be processed through our own justice system? Let judges and juries decide their guilt or innocence, then imprison them in US jails if guilty?

your subject line made me skip your post for a couple of days. I'm new to DU and don't want to stick my neck out right away but I could do without calling anyone a "whore." I'm also one of those folks that wonders about the use of women's first names all the time but mostly men's last names. Call me a feminist -- how old fashioned.

That stuff doesn't "offend" me. But thanks for the apology. I'm just "language aware," I guess, now that I have a daughter who notices every aspect of how girls/women are marginalized. At DU we should try to rememeber... that's all.

I agree with everything you wrote, completely! And people refer to Nancy Pelosi as Pelosi which is, I believe, a sign of her power and the respect she commands. As opposed to Hillary and Condi.
