I can't understand why Democrats are afraid to filibuster.

I would filibuster everything a Republican brought forth as a bill (or nomination).

Why in the hell is there some weird-ass notion that filibusters "are not right" to do?
REPUBLICANS MADE UP THAT TALKING POINT!!! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DRINKING THAT PARTICULAR KOOL-AID ?!

however they would come out and speak about it. Although Im sure that's a huge step to take as well.

In addition, the Media Industrial Complex is owned, operated and promoting the Right wing extremist agenda. If they weren't, why are they promoting and pushing through the Alito nomination?

I think most of our (true) Democrats have been intimidated and threatened for doing what is right for some time, and its important for us to let them know we support them and will defend them.

Look at all our good leaders who the right Wing extremists have harmed.

4. Senator FAX lists.

This thread has the FAX numbers of all the Senators--one list for Dems, one for Repugs.

FAX them. Let them run out of paper. Burn those FAX machines. Tell them (nicely) that you cannot support Alito on the Supreme Court.

Advise them that withholding the filibuster at this point gives the Republicans precisely what they want. Tell them that it's time to call the Repug's bluff.
