Student jailed for planning food fight at Glendale school
I posted this yesterday in LBN, but for some reason it was moved to the Arizona forum. Perhaps because it happened in Arizona? If it happened in California would it have been moved? I don't see this as an Arizona issue. This story has a far broader audience than Arizona. It's not a state issue. I don't know why it was moved. Anyway, I'll try it here:

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/0520B1-talker052...

A student at Mountain Ridge High School was arrested Friday by Glendale police and accused of plotting to stage a food fight.

The boy, a 17-year-old junior, was taken into custody at the Glendale school and then placed in a juvenile-detention center on a charge of disrupting an educational facility, police said.

Jeff Payne, the student's father, said the food fight never happened, so he can't understand why his son was arrested. advertisement

"Shame on him for planning a food fight," Payne said. "But there was no food fight and he's in jail right now."

3. Both your links are going to a site map, not to an article.
You may want to fix that.

11. That they used extra security to foil the plot just amazes me.
Everybody's treated like a terrorist now. Every single one of us. OBL has won.

6. School isn't for education, anyway..
Only training, programming, molding to serve a hierarchy. So this follows the pattern. The counntry's new program is being taught. You're right, this is much more than an Arizona issue.
