A Dire Department?
I know things are pretty dire in Cleveland, but now they have a department for it?

Divers search for man missing in Cuyahoga River

2:50 p.m.

Divers from the Coast Guard and City Dire Department haven't located a 46-year-old man who jumped into the Cuyahoga River around 1 a.m. Sunday off of the 1100 block of Main Avenue. Friends told police that Edmund Crenshaw of 138th Street said he wanted to swim the river and reportedly disappeared after swimming about 50 yards.
