George W. Bush's Job Approval Ratings Unchanged
As Concerns Over the Economy Grow

George W. Bush's job approval ratings are unchanged from April as concerns over the state of the national economy grow according to the latest survey from the American Research Group.

Among all Americans, 32% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 61% disapprove. When it comes to Bush's handling of the economy, 29% approve and 65% disapprove. Among Americans registered to vote, 32% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 61% disapprove. When it comes to the way Bush is handling the economy, 29% of registered voters approve of the way Bush is handling the economy and 65% disapprove.

A total of 75% of Americans rate the national economy as bad, very bad, or terrible, up from 67% in April, while 59% say the national economy is getting worse and 60% say the national economy will be worse a year from now.
