So I'm checking the "news" channels for Durbin's speech

You know...the one that's been announced as being the response to Bush's act in front of a captive audience of 70,000+ people affiliated with the Restaurant Association.

Let's see! Faux is doing a Natalie Holloway update and now a Border Watch story. CNN, MSNBC...commercials so they're obviously not airing it live. CSPAN has live House proceedings. CSPAN2 is hearings from a sub-committee that occurred on 5/17/06. Locally, we have zip, nada, nope, nill, and nothing.

Is it over? Did I miss it? Or is it just missing from the airwaves.

MSNBC didn't air the chimp's speech at the Restaurant Association, either.

2. They did do reporting of it during the speech though

and had him on in the background while they were reporting it (Bush speech). At the end of that 'report', they said Durbin will be giving a speech along with a shrug and a "so, we'll see."
