Anyone else have Google ads in the middle of their DU page?
I've never noticed this before.

I've got Google ads in the center of my DU page.

Interesting. The first ad was about an issue in my state. They know where I live?

The next ad is about an issue with the Democratic party. The next was for a restaurant that is 10 miles from my house--not a chain--a locally owned Italian restaurant.

((((Twilight Zone music))))

Anyone else?

2. No, I would be complaining were there.
But that doesn't mean it won't start to happen to everyone.

I'm not terribly fond of the idea. :grr:

On edit: I just got an ad for christianbroadband.com. Barf. As if sex were the worst thing in the world.

5. I wonder why I'm not seeing any Google ads.
I've been looking, since admin put out the announcement about them. But there's nothing different about the "Latest" page that I can see.

12. Same here...
I see the 'Ads by Gooooogle' link, but no ads. Click on it and it invites me to use Google ads.

Maybe we're not in a demograhic that they're after? <hope springs eternal>

6. I can deal with all of them
except that one drives me nuts. It sort of breaks things up in an unpleasant way I think. Whatever we have to deal with to keep this site going strong but those in the middle I do not like either.

11. Yes, Google knows (sometimes) where you are.
Your ISP gives you an IP address that sometimes is either fixed to you or confined to a pool in your general vicinity.
