So in what part of the world was it interpreted correctly?

I believe even in magic hugs and kisses fairyland it translates to "come try to kill our troops" too.

In unusually introspective comments, Bush said he regretted his cowboy rhetoric after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks such as his "wanted dead or alive" description of Osama bin Laden and his taunting "bring 'em on" challenge to Iraqi insurgents.

flashed the first row of reporters a big grin after he made his "oh so sincere" statments..which obviously belied his "regret".
The whole thing was rehearsed, staged and was as phony and hypocritical as that dumb twit always is.
