So in what part of the world was it interpreted correctly?
I believe even in magic hugs and kisses fairyland it translates to "come try to kill our troops" too.

In unusually introspective comments, Bush said he regretted his cowboy rhetoric after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks such as his "wanted dead or alive" description of Osama bin Laden and his taunting "bring 'em on" challenge to Iraqi insurgents.

"In certain parts of the world, it was misinterpreted."

1. I think it was widely interpreted correctly at DU, for starters
Rough translation: "I'm a complete idiot, I've always been a complete idiot, and I'll never be anything but a complete idiot."

3. I interpreted it as the declaration of a fool
A fool who doesn't know any more about war than what he's seen in the movies.

4. Dimson's interpretation tonight was it was taken the wrong way
in any other country but here, i.e., he "thinks" we accepted, but the world view despised it. Little does he know how many people really despise his words, actions, breathing! That's my interpretation.

5. What's that?
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. I was busy mendin' my fences..."

Heh, Dubya is as much a Texan cowboy as Pat Robertson is a well-meaning evangelist as Fox News is spin-free zone as Cheney is good at missing lawyers.

7. The isle of Mambo Floogaloo
where Bringit Tawn is the god of health, comity, and coverall bingo. Dubya was regarded as quite the statesman there until the unfortunate "s'hard work" incidents. Sard Werk is a grave epithet, telling your mother to go stick her head in a pig.

9. Sooo sincere. Smirky face and all. The reporter on Countdown said Dimson
flashed the first row of reporters a big grin after he made his "oh so sincere" statments..which obviously belied his "regret".
The whole thing was rehearsed, staged and was as phony and hypocritical as that dumb twit always is.

10. In those certain parts of most of America
Except in that those certain parts didn't "misinterpret" at all. Those parts saw it was just pandering to the chest thumping rednecks that have no place in foreign policy of anything that could be construed as a modern nation.
