PHOTO: MURDERED by ILLEGAL ALIEN GANG!

Barbara Coe, a member of the Minuteman Project, cheers during a rally in Los Angeles to signify the start of a cross country caravan the Minuteman Project is using to raise awareness about illegal immigration.
=====

Warning, America, these illegals are not here to pick your lettuce and clean your toilets, they are here to kill you!

...almost all US murders are committed by Americans against Americans.

Also. She never got over not being picked to play Betsy Ross in the 5th grade pageant, did she?

42. You're welcomed.
I was whipping through the library to get a book on hold and this was displayed on the shelf. When I saw his name I just snatched up the book. Romanie is quite a gal. I didn't know it was her on the cover at first. I thought it was a 13 year old with that look of rapture or something very spritual feeling. She had a good family and Matthew did too. I remember that day I heard about him on the news. I just about cried I was so horrified. We are all God's children that's all.

If you choose to be a "citizen of the world", that is surely your choice. However, although you state you are an American citizen, obviously your loyalties are not to our beloved nation and you would probably support abolishment of our sovereignty and open borders so that even more foreign invaders could massacre even more of our law-abiding citizens - and that also is your choice.

You might want to read the OATH of CITIZENSHIP to OUR country before you spend your time berating me for my position. I frankly do not care how many passports you and your kids have, since you obviously support the U.S. becoming just another Third World country, why bother to come back for your "summer
vacation"?

Since you are yet another hate-America globalist, PLEASE, spend your valuable "summer vacation" time spewing your ill-versed rhetoric in Russia, Africa or better still, Iran or Iraq.

I personally will continue to fight for MY beloved country and preserve the rights and freedoms for which MY forefathers and loved ones fought and died to protect.

5. Okay
In 1994, Coe organized a group called the California Coalition for Immigration Reform to help write and push through California's Proposition 187, which was meant to cut off undocumented immigrants from social services like public schools and hospitals. The initiative passed but was eventually found to be unconstitutional. Later, in 1999, she helped organize an effort to recall anti-187 Gov. Gray Davis, who she derided as a communist and referred to as "Gov. Gray 'Red' Davis."

Vitriolic, conspiracy-minded and just plain mean, Coe routinely refers to Mexicans as "savages." She claims to have exposed a secret Mexican plan (the "Plan de Aztlan") to reconquer the American Southwest. Last May, at a "Unite to Fight" anti-immigration summit in Las Vegas, she launched the kind of defamatory rant for which she is infamous. "We are suffering robbery, rape and murder of law-abiding citizens at the hands of illegal barbarians," she warned her cowering audience, "who are cutting off heads and appendages of blind, white, disabled gringos."

More recently, she attacked the new Hispanic mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, accusing him of seeking to return Southern California to Mexico.

But the most curious thing about the former police clerk -- whose friends have said she told them she was forced from her job in 1994, after using a city-owned camera to photograph people she thought were illegal aliens -- may be her offhand comments to the Denver Post this November. In a profile of her close friend, U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.), the paper said Coe described speaking to and belonging to the Council of Conservative Citizens. That group, which has called blacks "a retrograde species of humanity," has long been listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group -- as has Coe's own California Coalition for Immigration Reform.

6. Homeland insecurity
Anti-immigrant group hitched to white supremacists sues California officials

Bill Berkowitz

http://www.workingforchange.com/article.cfm?ItemID=13377

Barbara Coe is not your typical 60-something, silver-haired senior in polyester. The California resident, who claims to be part Sioux Indian, is a seasoned veteran of the state's anti-immigration wars.
At a rally at the Garden Grove Woman's Civic Hall shortly after Thanksgiving, the California Coalition for Immigrantion Reform (CCIR) announced plans for a new statewide anti-immigrant ballot initiative. According to the Orange County Register, Coe, president of CCIR, told the press that the new initiative - called the "Homeland Security Initiative" - would deny illegal immigrants access to public services. (For more on CCIR, see ccir.net.)

Petition signatures for CCIR's California initiative, which have not yet been submitted to the Secretary of State's office, was described as a "modified" version of the 1994 anti-immigrant ballot initiative, Proposition 187. According to the Orange County Register, "'The Homeland Security Initiative' is intended to remove what it calls incentives for illegal immigration. It would require the state to verify the legal status of anyone receiving 'public benefits,' ensure that all applicants for driver's licenses are in the country legally, and require that police officers turn over any illegal immigrants they arrest to federal authorities."

CCIR files civil rights suit

Judicial Watch, the litigation-happy Washington, DC-based operation run by Larry Klayman, in May filed a federal civil rights suit in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of CCIR. The suit charges Anaheim, California city officials with refusing to "extend police protection to law-abiding American citizens in an attempt to 'teach them a lesson' and silence them in retaliation for the lawful exercise of their First Amendment rights to speak, peaceably assemble, and petition the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim police department for a redress of grievances relating to illegal immigration."

23. She's been spreading hate for a long time
http://www.thenation.com/doc/20020304/berkowitz20020221
Barbara Coe is no anti-immigration amateur. Since the mid-1990s, according to the Chicago-based Center for New Community (CNC), an organization that monitors the activities of white supremacist organizations, Coe's California Coalition for Immigration Reform has been "the leading grassroots anti-immigrant organization in the country...with an impact that has extended beyond the borders of California to reach across the country." CCIR has been able to "find allies in elected office even while maintaining a firm footing in the politics of white supremacy."

For years, CCIR has been working with a number of anti-immigrant white supremacist organizations. The Orange County Register pointed out that Coe "works closely" with Glenn Spencer, leader of the Sherman Oaks-based American Patrol and Voice of Citizens Together. American Patrol and Voices of Citizens Together, along with other groups including the White Aryan Resistance, is one of more than 600 organizations on a list of "active hate groups" compiled by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Spencer's contribution includes the production of videos warning about a vast Mexican conspiracy to take over the Southwest.

Coe insists that her group has been falsely accused: "We know we're not . We both know what we are, who we are and who we represent," she told the Register. She also claims that her "efforts are not racially motivated or targeted at Mexican immigrants."

In 1996, however, Coe told the Washington Times: "Are we shocked by the demands that Latinos be given instant citizenship privileges... These are the same legal and illegal immigrants who bleed our welfare and medical care programs dry for benefits that citizens are denied, destroy our educational system, and laugh at our judicial system while they grab their welfare checks with one hand, deal drugs with the other, and their gangs savagely murder our citizens."

Another view into her hate-filled mind is here:
http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intelreport/article.jsp?aid=93&printable=1

Patrick McHugh of the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies, which purports to be a squeaky clean think tank that rejects racism, was there pressing the flesh along with Barbara Coe, head of the California Coalition for Immigration Reform, who repeatedly referred to Mexicans — as she has for years — as "savages."

She is someone who has been at the forefront of anti-immigration legislation for years.
And if people want to see what is at the core this movement, they should look at what she's done, who she's linked with and what that means.

45. The most frightening thing is that so much of what she has been
pushing is what some people are now proposing, and like her, wrapping themselves in flaglike material and saying that it's not racist and that it's all about breaking the law. People need to take a good, hard look at the people like Coe who are the source of some of the current propaganda, so they can see it for the agenda it really is.

24. Who is Steven Woods?
It’s been nearly 10 years since the gruesome death of 17-year-old Steven Woods, but the media’s depiction of South County Latinos as gangbangers hasn’t changed a bit. Woods, you’ll recall, died in late 1993 after he and his Anglo friends clashed with a group of young Latinos at a San Clemente park. One of the Latinos threw a paint roller at Woods, puncturing his skull and putting him in a coma from which he never awoke.

A race-baiting press immediately characterized the six Latino students convicted of Woods’ death as "street terrorists." The blowback was so powerful that backers of 1994’s Proposition 187 used Woods’ death as proof that Latino gangsters, most of them here illegally, were indiscriminately killing white teens.

33. I find it strange that googling "steven woods" and "paint roller"
brings up only the article you cited in your post. I would think that an incident like this would have had numerous links on the internet(s); news stories, political sites, bloggers, and the like. I just wanted to see if I could find out how a paint roller could be thrown so it would puncture a skull. Makes me wonder if there is more to this story than was originally reported. Perhaps it was nothing more than a tragic meeting between two groups opposed to the other's presence. I do believe that Ms. Coe, in using the victim's photo and what appears to be an x-ray of a skull (the victim?), is exhibiting bad taste and a lack of respect for the deceased. But then, when did this ever stop a neo-Con fascist?

26. The roots of bigotry run deep in those that see all groups as monolithic.
Thus, many freeper-types like Ms. Coe see all Arabs as violent Islamic extremists, all gays as pedophiles, all liberals as commies and now it seems that all Mexicans are slated to become murderers/criminals.

They just need someone to hate and their manipulative leaders know this. Last election cycle the Repugs fired up their base with gay hatred. This time around it is Mexicans. You think maybe one day they may actually try running on real issues?

Nah...

http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intelreport/article.jsp?aid=589

BARBARA COE, leader of the California Coalition for Immigration Reform, was quoted on a show last March bitterly attacking Home Depot for "betray{ing} Americans," apparently because Hispanic day laborers often gather in front of the store looking for work. Not mentioned were her group, listed by the SPLC as a hate group, or the fact that she routinely refers to Mexicans as "savages." Coe recently described herself as a member of the Council of Conservative Citizens, a "white pride" group formed from the remnants of the segregationist White Citizens Councils of the 1950s and 1960s that were once described by Thurgood Marshal as "the uptown Klan." She also told The Denver Post in November that she had given a speech to the group.
