Bush Aide Gets Exception at Harvard
The Harvard Crimson: "A 26-year-old college dropout who carries President Bush’s breath mints and makes him peanut butter-and-jelly sandwiches will follow in his boss’s footsteps this fall when he enrolls at Harvard Business School (HBS)."

"Though it is rare for HBS -- or any other professional or graduate school -- to admit a student who does not have an undergraduate degree, admissions officers made an exception for Blake Gottesman, who for four years has served as special assistant and personal aide to Bush."

2. That's NOTHING. The exTaliban Spokesman's now a student
at YALE, and he's not only a freaking terrorist, he also only has a third grade education.

6. After they gave Bush a degree, it made it hard for them to argue
that they had any kind of admission standards.

7. Meanwhile, some well educated, driven, deserving student
Who has neither the pull nor the money of Bush's personal valet just got bumped to another school, despite his/her multiple undergrad degrees and 3.95 GPA.

Harvard should be ashamed.

12. Especially Now That They've Seen The Damage Legacy. . .
. . .admissions can do. Had they rejected Silverspoon a LONG time ago, we wouldn't be in this mess now. He'd just be running a restaurant in Boise that his family bought to keep him out of the way. But, no. Yale & Harvard gave this idiot a degree, and now we have all this.

This would be the very reason they should have rejected this aide. The damage legacy admissions and favors to contributors can both do is manifest.
