Bush Apologizes For Saying He Wants Osama Caught "Dead or Alive".
So he makes a public apology to his bud and the media ignores it?

He said he regrets saying "Bring 'em on " and "Dead or alive". Then blew it by saying those remarks were "misinterpreted", as if these were multilayered statements that we all misread. I guess "Mission Accomplished" was misinterpreted, as well.

What we heard last night was an apology for threatening Bin Laden.

But then, he didn't worry himself about Osama that much anyway, did he?

and the guy reporting did point out how rehearsed and staged it was, pointing out the big grin bush gave to the reporters. As if saying "wasn't that good, do I get my cookie now"
