in or around the Rayburn building... breaking on CNN. They are trying to figure out what is going on now.

I once had POS car that insisted on dieseling for 30-60 seconds after I shut it off, then finishing off with a moment of silence before a humongous backfire.

At the time I was attending a community college in a pretty rough part of town. One day after stepping away from my car in the parking lot, it gave off the requisite parting <<!!!BAM!!!>>.

Two armed security guards came running, hands on their weapons, ready for action. I just kept walking to class.

A House Democratic aide now tells RAW STORY that a police officer said gunpowder has been found in the Rayburn office building.

The officer said that the gunpowder WAS NOT part of the Capitol firing range. It was not a blank. The Capitol firing range beneath the Rayburn building DOES NOT use gunppowder, the police officer said.

Fox News is reporting that women who ran out of the building told Capitol police they had seen a gunman in the "locker room" and the "gymnasium."

CNN is also reporting that videocameras in the Rayburn garage did NOT have tape in them.
