6. A protest vote? No, he's simply not qualified.
If he doesn't believe in the rule of law, he is automatically disqualified. He should be prosecuted, not promoted.

10. Was there any floor debate on this at all? Wasn't it just voted out of
committee in the last 72 hours or so?

I thought the Democrats were going to use this opportunity to talk about the NSA spying. Oh, I forgot, they have to get out of town for Memorial Day.

The Specter vote is very interesting. I didn't notice it when I first looked at this list.
