Bush Nominates His Old Coke Dealer For Drug Czar (BSNews)

WASHINGTON - President George W. Bush on Monday nominated his old cocaine dealer Jamal ‘T-Funk’ Daniels as Director of National Drug Control Policy, setting up a battle with the U.S. Congress over his drug-dealing background and key role in Bush’s long-time cocaine habit.

T-Funk is set to face tough questions in the Senate, although administration officials expressed confidence he would be confirmed, unlike Bush’s failed Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers who was disregarded by senators as a ‘dirty crack-ho.’

"Jamal is the right man to lead the War On Drugs at this critical moment in our nation’s history,” Bush said in making the announcement with T-Funk at his side in the Oval Office. “His long experience selling cocaine ideally suits him to the position. They never deal with small time middlemen like Jamal. We're talking plane loads of the stuff here. More likely Jamal buys from someone who buys from someone who buys from someone who buys from a Bush front man.
