After Haditha, does anyone now wonder at Bush's hostility to the ICC?
After the trials of Milosevic and his commanders, and the upcoming trial of Charles Taylor, by the ICC, has shown that the shit doesn't always flow downhill.

1. Nothing they have done
leading up to this war happened by chance. Every thing they have done or caused to happen was done with planning and forethought. They are mega criminals, super criminals, the mafia on steroids. Somewhere in the bowels of bushco, there is a document spelling it all out, from the theft of the white house to the invasion of a sovereign country and atrocities yet to unfold. Everything they've done was done with a purpose in mind. Unfortunately they are not yet through, but lately it seems that some of their grand plans have turned to shit. This makes me very happy.

2. It was always apparent they intende war crimes
Too bad the fools in the coalition of willing war criminals were so ill-informed
or so evil that they cooperated. If no court takes them down, i hope charles
bronsen does.

4. the top brass and those who gave the
commands for this horrendous act must be held accountable, Rumsfeld and the rest of his cohorts in crime, (the soldiers who carried out this act must pay also) and yes even the murderer who is sitting in the WH. Peter Pace, what a piece of kiss ass he is.

5. Bush** Co have The Hague Invasion Act to protect them
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hague_Invasion_Act

The American Servicemembers' Protection Act (ASPA) is a United States federal law introduced by United States Senator Jesse Helms as an amendment to the Defense Authorization Act and passed in August 2002 by the Congress. The stated purpose of the amendment was "to protect United States military personnel and other elected and appointed officials of the United States government against criminal prosecution by an international criminal court to which the United States is not party".

The amendment is intended to weaken the position of the International Criminal Court in The Hague as it allows the U.S. government to save U.S. citizens from extradition to the ICC, and also authorizes "any necessary action", as Helms put it, "to free U.S. soldiers improperly handed over to that Court".

Furthermore, it contained prohibitions on the U.S. providing military aid to countries which had ratified the treaty establishing the court; however, there were a number of exceptions to this, including NATO members, major non-NATO ally, and countries which entered into an agreement with the United States not to hand over U.S. nationals to the Court. ASPA also excluded any military aid that the U.S. President certified to be in the U.S. national interest.
