IT "BREAKS MY HEART" TOO, CONGRESSMAN MURTHA, and...
Edited on Tue May-30-06 09:59 PM by Jeffersons Ghost
These neo-con nazis are already impinging his character for telling the truth about a need for investigation of the Haditha Massacre, while he also perhaps shortens the horrors Republican fools have wrought on humankind for fun and profit.

Murtha was quite outspoken in a CNN interview tonight. As a US Marine the Democratic Congressman from Pennsylvania was a decorated Vietnam War veteran. Murtha began in the Marine Corps Reserves. In 1959 Captain Murtha took command of the 34th Special Infantry Company of the Marine Corps Reserves. He remained in the Reserves until he volunteered for service in Vietnam in 1966, to serve as a battalion staff officer who received the Bronze Star with Combat "V" for valor in combat, two Purple Hearts and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He retired from the Reserves as a colonel in 1990, receiving the Navy Distinguished Service Medal.

I just hate our guys getting tried, as the big dogs continue to run around as mad as hatters. That is what breaks my heart.

In truth, we ALL act like ostriches when it comes to leaving them "in harms way." Anyone that pays U.S. taxes is as guilty as a hit-marine headed to HADITHA. Funding atrocities is consummate to committing them. I feel, we as Americans, must understand how our troops feel but as citizens of humanity, we must look into the heart of an Iraqi mother mourning her murdered child.

2. It's difficult not to prevent your tax dollars from supporting war
Mainly, because you don't decide how the money is spent. They do.

If you proposed a tax revolt, you'd hurt yourself. If every leftist in America stopped filing income taxes as a way to make the war machine grind to a halt, there'd be no money to support Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Nevermind public education, job training, and research grants for technology and medicine and more.
