Most important election
I am very concerned about the November 06 election and how many voters will say "its a sure thing so why waste time voting." This election could be one of the most important in American history and we can't afford to loose again to the cooperate cons that have hijacked our freedeom, respect, and wealth.

We all need to remember that every vote counts. Presidential elections are to far in the future to get lost in at this time, we must retake the senate or it will not matter who is the next president.

1. It would be most important in our history if we had grassroots democracy
And not a bunch of corporatecrats owned the ballots and media and country.

2. Most everyone on DU shares your concern, Jack113, and it'd be
nice if we knew realistically that every vote counted. But we WILL be voting!

Welcome to DU! :hi:

5. They're ALL important - that's why I never missed a chance to vote since
1972.

Even practically CRAWLED to the polling place when I was miserably SICK with fever and chills!

6. We need ** to give a speech everyday. His poll #'s drop every
time he opens his lying mouth. He says the economy is doing great, but he never mentions who is really benefiting. He can't convince someone that is laid off; with bills piling up, that everything is just fine. The Republican Rubberstamp Congress should be ashamed. (Impossible,I know)

I believe there will be a Democratic landslide victory in 06. (IMHO)

7. I hear Diebold Defeatists say it is a "sure thing we'll lose" more often
than I hear anyone else say it is a sure thing we will win.
