2. Well, one of the "Resources for Union Members" is "Decertify Your Union"..
I may be going out on a limb here, but the site seems a little anti-union to me.

3. Looks like a front for big business interests and right wing think tanks.
...and they will not disclose exactly where their funding comes from. Here is the vague blurb from their own site:

So who are you guys, really?
The Center for Union Facts is a non-profit organization supported by foundations, businesses, union members, and the general public. We are dedicated to showing Americans the truth about today's union leadership.

Q. Why would a business fund an organization that intended to make unions more efficient at getting workers better pay and benefits?

A. It wouldn't

5. Anti-union propaganda
You would be amazed at some of the rumors employers propagate to keep their non-union employees from considering organizing

6. Allegedly, one of their major funders is Wal-Mart. But of course, Wal Mart
denies knowing anything about it.

7. Isn't this the same organization that
promotes their anti-union propaganda in the MSM every time one of the big unions has a meeting or a press statement or an activity (like GOTV for Dem nominees)? On many RW sites, this website is quoted and linked as a "watchdog" group, so it must be a RW front group.

The propaganda is so blatantly outrageous that it is almost ridiculous, but it especially strikes a chord here in the South, which has always been anti-union. I have seen the spot on CNN too.

(From the New York Times)

"Group Starts Anti-Union Campaign"
By STEVEN GREENHOUSE
Published: February 14, 2006

A new business-backed group is mounting a highly visible attack against organized labor, just as unions are trying to pick themselves up after suffering a schism and years of decline.

The group, the Center for Union Facts, ran full-page advertisements in national newspapers yesterday and started a Web site, UnionFacts.com, asserting that many unions are corrupt and have hurt airlines, steel makers and automakers.

"Obviously I'm putting out information that's not very flattering," said Richard Berman, a longtime lobbyist for the restaurant and beverage industry who is executive director of the Center for Union Facts. "The average person today, including the average union member, doesn't have any idea how unions operate and what the realities are. Everybody knows what unions are good at, but not what they're bad at."
