1. I am convinced that it will not make any difference who runs for
President in '08. We continue to talk and scheme and get red in the face about democratic functions and institutions that are no longer viable, no longer extant. We are at the stage of acceptance or resistance; there is no "System" any longer within which we can work to reestablish our democracy. We either must accept the rulers chosen for us or resist those rulers. Voting in 21st century America is equivalent to voting in 20th century USSR - it looks good on the news...

7. I think you may be right.
Voter fraud, machines that can be manipulated to change results, and a total lack of respect for the American people by our elected representatives indicate you may very well be correct.

Sad that America has come to this. It will take another Civil War to restore the integrity our forefathers envisioned.

18. No wonder they seem to ignore polls
anymore. They used to seem to give a damn about what their constituents wanted. Lately this rule doesn't hold and I think it's because these voting machines are making voters completely irrelevant. They really are the deciders I guess. Until we do something about it.

5. If Pat Paulsen and Mary Kay Letourneau's daddy could run, hell, ANYONE
can. That doesn't mean she'll win, she's gotta get through the debates and the primaries like everyone else.

This is a TYPICAL Jack Welch/GOP/GE question. The sorry fucker probably wrote it personally. Get the sheep all excited....

10. A question
Usually when someone posts these poll links it's because theres a clear majority of DU'ers who will vote in synch. I'm not sure how everyone is voting here for this poll.
Me personally, I vote no. Not that it matters anyhow because our votes WILL be highjacked. But any person who will publically praise GWB for being charming is an obvious liar.
I'm sick of liars.

She is sounding too much like a republican these days. Besides she carries too much baggage. The neocons want her to run because they know she is beatable. I don't want the neocons to choose who we run.

14. Scuse, please
What candidate does not have baggage?

Her years of service to this country should count as very good baggage. Do not play into the neo-cons hands. They're actually very scared of her. That's why they hate her so. Same with her hubbie, our Bill.

I think democrats who oppose her are playing into their hands, big time.

17. She is so hated by the republicans
that I believe if she was to run it would motivate those now sitting on the fence to get out and vote not for their party, but against Hilary.

12. Personally, I think instead of "voting" we should refuse to "vote"
Boycotting the media bullshit voting polls should be a strong message to them that we are aware our votes don't count, so what's the point until the system is fixed?

If they don't have us to vote, they can only start mentioning the problem their viewers are having with the integrity of the vote. It is a point that should be made.

A month long "refuse to vote online polls".. just a thought... I'm starting to run out of them to get the message out....

We lost the integrity of our vote. Face it THEN Fix it. THAT'S THE MESSAGE.
