How can the Pentagon be predicting a year of WORSE violence after what we have already been through??

I am beside myself with negative emotions (yes, even Mr_Spock has these).

Everyone should be forced to watch the "Dear Mr. President" live performance by Pink (http://www.shockedandawful.com/Tunes.html ).

Ask the person you show it to how they feel about Bushco and it's murderous wars afterwards. I dared a Republican at work to watch it yesterday and he was puffy eyed and pensive after that.

I've had it with this administration and it's lies and killing.

This has gone far enough.

1. It sucks to be us, because there's no one around who
seems to be able to do anything to reverse this admin's policies, regardless of how devastating they are. :-(

2. They may be counting on tensions/hostilities with Iran spilling over
into Iraq in the next 12 months.

3. As if we could take on Iran at this point
Are these fuckers on a suicide pact??

We may have to use the Constitution to remove these neocon Nazi's from our government.

5. I heard there were 50+ people killed yesterday?
I will try not to make a snide remark about how Iraqi's don't count because I know what your point was.

Can you imagine if the RWers actually valued the life of all of Gods children?

...even "towel head" "dirt bag" "sand niggers"?

:(

7. Insurgency will wane, only when
Iraq runs out of people. They hate us now and will fight to the last person to get us out. Shoe on other foot: Redcoats vs. Colonists. That empire lost that fight, we will as well.
Those who do not study history... will make the same damned mistakes... over and over again...

Edited on Wed May-31-06 11:03 AM by sparosnare
Has been for a year, apparently. June 1, 2005:

In an interview on Larry King Live - Dick Cheney said of the violence in Iraq, ''I think they're in the last throes, if you will, of the insurgency."

:grr: :grr: :grr:

9. I was wondering when the drunk face-shooting criminal said that.
He should resign in shame for saying such an assine and totally off base remark. Their miscalculations are the cause of many thousands of DEATHS!!!

Why oh why are they not being held accountable??

10. Who will hold them accountable?
At one time I thought Congress might decide enough is enough and do it, but that has proven to be a naive sentiment.

The only ones who can hold them accountable are US. The people of this country. Now if we can only stop fighting amongst ourselves and step out of our little bubbles. I think things are gonna have to get a hell of a lot worse before that happens. A hell of a lot worse.

11. It so feels like Vietnam thinking all over again
"Well, we can't pull out now - they need us there now - we're in it for the long haul"

Famous last words of proud men and fools.

I also think it will have to get worse before we wake up - my family is liberal and they seem to have their heads up asses when it comes to this situation - no matter what awful thing happens they make up lame justifications for it. :(

14. What idiot moron neocon ass hole decided "we have the power, let's use it"
That person or persons should have their citizenship revoked.

It is not the protesters who are not patriotic, it's the people trying to destroy our country by making us weak and hated. How can we be sure the neocons are not infiltrators?
