I mean after what us and the world have been through with these congenital liars running this country over that last 5 and a half years I don't believe a word they say either. If I was the Iranian president I would figure if they say they are wanting to talk the bombing will begin shortly.

Or do I have the Bush regime all wrong and actually they are some very honest and trustworthy people?

1. Hell, I don't even know what they said, and I suspect them of lying.
Did they open their mouths? Then, yes, they were lying.

And no, I don't blame Iran - or anything - for assuming that those two are lying.

It's a pretty fucking good bet they are. The only thing that Fuckstick ever said that turned out to be true was that he would run this country like he ran his businesses.

3. They and their cohorts are genetically unable to tell the truth...
even when the truth would serve them best.

They are sociopaths!

5. Don....I didn't believe them when they said...and I am sure
any country in the world that hears this administration say they are willing to talk is thinking the same thing...Theres always a catch...

For Iran the catch is...We demand that you stop doing what your doing and we will talk....What does Iran get out of this?

This administration has no trustworthiness to stand on....I honestly think they are childlike and transparant in their lies.....

11. I suspect what Iran is going to get out of this is...
...to have their country and citizens blown to smithereens, invaded, and occupied.

And then they will watch us steal their oil to sell (at our price of course) to pay to rebuild everything we just blew up.

This is all dependent on the Iranians not having a credible deterrent to prevent that from occurring.

12. Yup that sounds about right...but the fallout will be far more..
treacherous for the US than what is happening in Iraq....China and Russia will have something to say about it....and wait let's not forget all of the individuals who will get even more motivated to attack the US.....

Everytime the * cabal says', "We're fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here"!!! Don't you think there are people out there thinking about this very thing....The * cabal apparantly doesn't....they don't believe their own propaganda.

10. Agrees : they are ALL lying, what did you expect ?
all this is a poker game. A big mistake is to believe that somebody OPPOSING Bush and Co is automatically a "good guy"... applies to Chavez, Galloway etc... of course to a different degree...

13. If Bush thought it was the "truth"...
He'd change it before saying it. The same goes for his whole Administration if not the whole Republican leadership. The Bushistas not only do not tell the truth, they NEVER tell the truth. I'd be surprised if anyone could find anything (other than, say, having given their real names and those sort of trivial things) that they've said that is true.

Lie and stay the course by lying more; never admit making a mistake... but lying about it by "admitting" 'someone else' made a mistake is okay.

14. "Diplomacy" talks is nothing more than propaganda for the masses
Edited on Thu Jun-01-06 05:18 AM by LunaC
“U.S. prepared to talk with Iran” is supposed to make the harried and halfway-paying-attention public think that everybody is going to get together, talk things over and work out a deal conducive to all parties. Sounds “diplomatic” and reasonable. But that’s not what’s happening.

"(T)he United States…is holding direct talks with Iran…if Iran …first agrees…” That’s not a prelude to diplomatic talks but an unreasonable demand. Imagine one executive saying to another “I want to buy your company. Sign it over to me and then we’ll talk price.” That’s the type of deal * is offering, guaranteed to bring a “Fuck you!” response.

This is a carefully orchestrated maneuver intended to prime an unsuspecting public for an Iran attack. When the “diplomacy” fails as we all know it will, * can say “Well, we tried but Iran is being disagreeable and we have no choice but to respond militarily.” And the public will shuffle along, muttering to themselves “Yeah, we tried, right?” and go about their business while * drives us straight into the brick wall of an epic world crisis.
