3. And within the article...
we have the now oft-used meme:

"Bush's job-approval numbers remain in the cellar. But he might finally have hit bottom."

4. How is Clinton statistically tied with Reagan?
It looks like he's still down 25% to 28%.

11. I believe the poll is +/- 3% which is why it is statistically tied

15. Actually,
From the link... "From May 23 - 30, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,534 registered voters nationwide. The survey has a margin of error of +/- 2.5 percentage points." Unless we're expecting another statistical miracle like the exit poll results/election results from OHIO 2004, I think it's probably safe to say that Clinton got edged out by Raygun. Besides, look who the repukes had to choose from, other than Eisenhower, there was no one else to split their vote.

7. Why...
anyone thinks Ronnie Rayguns is amongst the best is very clueless...How can anyone rank him amongst the best when he totally ignored the plight of AIDS in the U.S. and around the world. It took him what? like 7 years to finally acknowledge its existence!! Then there were the attack on our soldiers in Beirut or Lebanon? and of course out of control deficits, and mustn't forget Iran-Contra scandal in which Dear Ronnie's mind went totally blank all of sudden--which only led to the U.S. making seedy, shady deals with Saddam and Osama becoming more pissy at the U.S. as well which in turn years down the line led to 9/11. And people get in a orgasmic blather, especially Repugs, because Rayguns spews "Tear down this wall" and Communism comes to an end with them all thinking this was Rayguns doing when in fact it wasn't. Living with such myths, please! I rank Ronnie as fair--not good, not Best, but not worst mind you--a few rankings above Nixon and Bush I even. Big Dawg Bill--now THERE'S A PRESIDENT!

Mr. Reagan's support for Central American death squads, the Marcos dictatorship, and his honoring of Waffen SS dead at Bitburg.

13. It helps that he is dead, and was old and infirm when he left office
Had he been a bit younger and healthier, he would've caught more grief for the messes he'd gotten us into.

(My theory, and what it is too.)

There is no way Bush could avoid this, he's wrong on everything and has caused more problems than solutions.
