UCMJ Experts. Should the LtCol that called Rush yesterday be fired?
Heard a little of "pig-boy" during a trip to lunch. He replayed a call from Iraq from a LtCol. Why the LtCol would be calling a drug addicted, anal-cysted, thrice divorced, gay prostitute trolling, chickenhawk radio host is beyond me. But during the call, that Rush just appreciated so much, and during which the guy thanked Rush for his service in Vietnam alongside John Kerry, ...no...er...wait, that wasn't it. He thanked Rush for protecting him from the "big, bad, drive-by media". Anyway, I digress.

A couple of things the LtCol said during the call made me wonder why he's not standing in front of a superior officer this morning getting his one way ticket back to the states.

1. He said; "just turn us loose, just let us do our jobs, or bring us home". Sounds to me like that is border-line violation of Article 88 (Contempt toward officials). Is he criticizing the prosecution of the war? If so, he surely can't be complaining that the "media" is holding him back. Last I checked, he works for the C-in-C, SECDEF, and his Commanding Officer. Are these the officials that he shows contempt for? If he has a problem with the prosecution of the war, and how his troops are employed, there is an avenue to address that. It's called the Chain of Command, and guess what, Rush isn't in it. Sounds like he is not happy with the way the war is being run. It also is logical to conclude that, since the ones running this war are his C-in-C, SECDEF, and CO, he has shown contempt for those officials by criticizing his Chain of Command on national syndicated radio, and that contempt has been heard by millions of Americans, not to mention HIS OWN TROOPS IN IRAQ.

2. He said that he "requires Rush and Hannity to be piped into the Ready Room and if the liberals want to listen to something else, they can use their walk-mans". Sounds like the work-place would be pretty hostile if you happened to be a liberal or a Dem assigned to this guys command. Sounds like it borders on violation of UCMJ Article 117 (Provoking Speech or Gestures), Article 133 (Conduct Unbecoming an Officer or a Gentleman), and is pretty darn close to Article 93 (Cruel and Unusual Treatment). I know, Art 93 may be a stretch, but I would think having Rush and Hannity piped in would constitute "cruel and unusual" punishment.

I'm being a little "tongue-in-cheek", but seriously...Why the hell is a military officer calling Limpballs "little hate-fest" radio show?

For that matter: WHY IS THAT POS STILL ON AFRTS?

1. "just turn us loose, just let us do our jobs"
They always say this when they are getting their ass kicked. So far I haven't seen where they have been restrained by anything.

3. I think most are restrained by
human decency, integrity, and compassion.

Since the Repukes seem to lack those qualities, it's a damn good thing we have a sufficient number of liberal Democrats that are serving, and truly know what "service to your country" is all about, and it ain't what this guy preaches.

Just the kind of guy a maniac like limbaugh would encourage.

2. Later on he further confided in Rush more specifics ....

"A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual, and certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works. I first became aware of it, Rush, during the physical act of love...Yes, a profound sense of fatigue, a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. I can assure you it has not recurred, Rush. Women...women sense my power, and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid women, Rush ...but I do deny them my essence."

5. Well see, first of all, you're assuming that LimpBalls is telling you the
truth about this person being a LtCol. I personally don't even give him that much. Was it really a Lt Col or was it one of his drug buddies calling in?

6. UPDATE! UPDATE! The Guy's a Fake!
Just heard the opening of Limpballs show. Turns out there is not LtCol Luke Fitzpatrick serving with the Air Force in Iraq and that the Fighter Wing he said he was with does not exist.

Apparently, Limpballs mouth-breathing listeners wanted so much to thank this guy, and show their support for the troops that the Air Force was being over-run with calls and e-mails. The Pentagon was prompted to contact Limpballs and tell him to "cease and desist", that this guy did not exist, and that the caller was bogus.

Imagine that, a Freeper imitating a military man on Limpballs show.

Imagine that, fake callers on Limpballs show.

Imagine that, his listeners being so stupid to fall for fake callers.

I guess if their fearless leader can dress up in a flight suit and play GI Joe, they can to.

I feel vindicated!!

Rush states that after his investigation, neither Fitzpatrick nor the number of his air wing exists.
I think he was an astute, radical liberal operative trying to trap Rush.

I had my suspicions when he had stated "let us out of our cage". This sounded too anti-Bush to me.

Rush got Baba Booeyed (sp).

He should have apologized to his audience. I didn't hear one

To: MaestroLC
Well, it REALLY is possible that he made up an alias to protect himself, unit and family against attacks from the lefties.

   Those damn "lefty attackers" again. I thought the Repukes were supposed to be the tough party of "rugged individualism". See, even a strapping Air Force pilot is so afraid of liberals, he has to use a fake name and unit to protect himself from the "mean ole' liberals". We really are bullies, aren't we :)

9. WHY IS THAT POS STILL ON AFRTS?
Ask our great Democratic Leadership.... This has to be one of their worst failings. There is no reason ever to politicize the military and that is exactly what is happening with Rush on Armed Forces Radio. Hate Radio is not proper entertainment and Rush needs to be removed. I don't want equal time I want no politics at all.

10. I didn't read this yesterday
while reading it this morning fakery instantly came to mind. I give our armed forces a little more credit than to call in to a hatefest, especially one who has risen to the lt. col. rank.
