Napolitano to O'Reilly: If Hillary Clinton were president, "pro-life and pro-gun" activists, conservative commentators would be "targets of warrantless searches"

From the January 11 edition of Westwood One's The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly:

O'REILLY: Doesn't matter -- whatever they are, they have a right to their opinion. But the country's coming down 60-40, basically saying we want to be protected, we do not feel our rights are being violated by the NSA eavesdropping or the Patriot Act.

NAPOLITANO: Would you feel this way if Hillary were president?

O'REILLY: Yeah.

NAPOLITANO: Because then, you know, the pro-life and the pro-gun will -- they'll be targets of warrantless searches.

O'REILLY: No, but -- not unless they're dealing --

NAPOLITANO: And maybe conservative commentators will be targets of warrantless searches.

O'REILLY: Not unless we're dealing with Al Qaeda, correct? Aren't I correct?

NAPOLITANO: If she has to go to a judge, like FISA , she'd have to demonstrate the connection to Al Qaeda. If she doesn't have to go to a judge, she can pick whoever she wants.

is actually right, not necessarily in claiming Hillary would go after such groups, but he may be trying to get to the point that unchecked executive power is not right in the hand of any party or any president.

Of course, O'Reilly is so fuckin thickheaded, he doesn't get that point.

If anyone defends the warrantless wiretaps, I'd ask them the same question. O'Reilly is actually saying 'yes', but most will say they wouldn't want Hillary would such powers, showing that they are nothing but jackboot fascist thugs. Then again, I didn't hear what Napalotano said about Bush commiting these crimes, and if he defended it, he too is a fascist thug.

I could demonstrate a connection between a peanut butter sandwich and AlQaeda if need be. No brainer.

Not too bright for cons to be pushing this. They should know how easily this can be flipped after we win in 2008. They would be crying like two yr olds if this was reversed. Hypocrites.
